About

Phylosophy

Let's get to konw us a little bit more what we do and who we are...

The idea ‘Freediving Liveaboard’ came up when we – Martin and Daniel – talked for the first time about  organising Freediving trips for our family, friends and students all around the globe.

We found out that we share the same passion with our land based and liveaboard trips we did in the past and had planned for the future. It is all about being as close to the sea as possible, enjoying marine life and nature and bringing freedivers together – to see the joy in their faces. That moment ‘Freediving Liveaboard’ was born.

We want to combine our knowledge and give you the best experience on all our liveabord trips – weather it is a training or a recreational trip.

From the most exotic and beautiful places, over well know dives sites to perfect training trips – we want to give you all choices and options. You will find the trip that fits your needs the most. Big animal encounters, wreck diving, cave diving, huge reef drop offs and super calm sees – all is possible. And as we are as passioned about Freediving as you are, we will always be looking for the best opportunity to combine most of this on all our trips.

While some of us are focused on training during the season, they look for distraction while diving with mantas, sharks or dolphins during our holidays. Others who, thanks to their geographic location, luckily have those chances many times during the year, are looking for profound training opportunities outside overcrowded Freediving hotspots.

We will travel as sustainable as possible but also make sure you will find the comfort you need. We will travel by sailing or motor boat and you won’t have to worry about getting towards the best diving spots – even for the most remote places.
We want to bring together Freedivers from all over the world and provide diversion and highest quality of diving, training, fun and food on all our trips.

We are looking forward seeing you on board soon!

I love freediving and everything related to it. At the start it was all about training and competing. Later about training athletes at the highest level and over time also about traveling and diving with my students in different locations around the world.

I really like playing with dolphins, diving with sharks or whales and gentle communication with manta rays. I also really enjoy diving in caves and wrecks! For example, diving in Mexican cenotes is absolutely magical. Among my favorites are the swim throughs at the Egyptian cliff Shaab Claudia or the caves on the island of Gozo! Diving at war wrecks, such as the Thistelgorm in the Red Sea, is wonderful and a great adventure!

Guiding fellow freedivers at more challenging locations, I enjoy seeing how excited and surprised they are by what they can do underwater on one single breath. And last but not least exploring new places, cultures and people … For all these reasons, traveling and freediving is my big passion. I want to share these moments with all of you!

With Zurich as my homebase, where it is really hard to find my favourite animals – the sharks – I am trying to spend as much time as possible overseas and in the deep blue.

Freediving became my passion and I love to share it with others. I love to discover new places underwater – with one breath and my camera. It is hard to name my favourite place in the sea, but I think I would call Polynesia my second home. From remote islands and atolls you can only reach by little boats, to some of the worlds best and well known diving spots where you can fly to – the marine live in Polynesia never disappointed me and I had some of my most memorisable and mind-blowing animal encounters there.

Remote places always fascinated me. Diving with over 400 grey reef sharks, great hammerheads or humpback whales and water with over 70m of visibility just got me addicted.
